Episode 44 - Suffrage at Seneca Falls
At the Seneca Falls Convention Elizabeth Cady Stanton led a group of women—and men—in addressing the condition of women in America. At the time, women could not own property, nor could they vote. The convention led to a proclamation that “All men and women are created equal.” In subsequent years, Stanton and other leaders, such as Susan B. Anthony, helped advance the rights of American women.
