Episode 43 - Along the Oregon Trail

The Oregon Trail began in Missouri and weaved its way up to the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Along the way, pioneers had to cross mountains and face difficult terrain and deadly disease, especially cholera. They journeyed in prairie schooners—rugged wagons, but lighter than the larger conestoga. These were the brave men, women, and children who blazed the American west.
