In the fallout of Antietam, Lincoln replaced George McClellan with General Ambrose Burnside. Eager to march on Richmond, Burnside engages Lee’s army in the Battle of Fredericksburg. Unable to push through, the Union changes generals once again, and meets Lee in the Virginia wilderness at Chancellorsville.
